Applying for Financial Aid
98% of our full-time students receive financial aid. Discover how KWU can be an affordable option for you, too.
Application-Free Scholarships
You don’t need to fill out a separate application for KWU scholarships—your test scores, GPA, and activities speak for themselves. You must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester of on campus classes to qualify KWU scholarships and grants.
- All academic scholarships are awarded by admissions office based on your KWU composite score if you will be a first-time student, or your cumulative college GPA if you are transferring to KWU.
- Academic scholarships also renew automatically as long as you continue to meet the GPA requirements.
- The Admissions office will notify you of the scholarship for which you are qualified and it will be awarded once you submit a valid FAFSA and have been accepted to the university.
- Performance scholarships are awarded by your area of interest and are automatically renewable as long as you are active in something in addition to classroom study.
Outside Scholarships
You may also apply for scholarships that are not administered by KWU. We can direct to you many outside scholarships, but you should also look for opportunities on your own. To apply, you’ll need to follow the specific requirements of each scholarships.
